We are seeking a full-time facilities maintenance technician. Day shift Monday through Friday; 9am – 6pm.
This position reports to the head of our Service Engineering Department.
The candidate will be responsible for facilities maintenance in our 40k sq ft laboratory. This includes critical equipment, HVAC, plumbing, air compressors, compressed gas distribution piping, chilled fluid recirculation system, pumps, some electrical, etc. This also includes new projects and some site cleanup as well. A candidate with appropriate aptitude may be trained to diagnose & repair different types of scientific instruments but facilities maintenance, repair and upgrades are our priority for this position. Candidates will need to be comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs.
The technician would be trained & directed as needed by our experienced onsite service engineering staff.
Salary range $55k-$70k/Year. Good benefits: Family flexibility, Kaiser Health insurance, subsidized dental, 401K, paid vacations and holidays, merit based bonuses and raises, excellent work environment.
